Forklift Operator
The Forklift Operator is responsible for daily operating the forklift in the receiving, storing and delivery of goods in a safe, timely and professional manner to ensure maximium customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily provide support to senior personnel in the safety and satisfactory maintenance of the warehouse in keeping with best practices, reducing the instance of equipment damage and minimalizing the risk of injury to self, goods and property
- Daily provide support to Warehouse Attendants in the timely and accurate delivery of goods to Customer
- Ensure all company matters are handled in an ethical and confidential manner
Qualification & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating equipment
- Possess Certificate three years old or less
- Confident, energetic, self-motivated and customer service focus
- Ability to use initiative and exercise good judgement
- Ability to work with a team environment, flexible with hours and days of work
The successful candidate should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires at least two (2) references from previous employers; must have a clean forklift driving record; a Police certificate of good character is required.
