Montego Bay: Delivery Coordinator

 Active Home Centre, Jamaica’s leading retailer for home enhancement products with showrooms in Kingston & Montego Bay has an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to join our team as:

DELIVERY COORDINATOR – MONTEGO BAY

The successful candidate will work in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager coordinating safe receiving, storing and accurate delivery of products in a timely manner.

Other duties/responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Plan and coordinate product delivery activities to ensure accurate and timely deliveries of goods.
  • Oversee unloading of goods and, if necessary, conduct investigations and report any discrepancies found.
  • Liaise with the Warehouse Manager to rectify any discrepancies.
  • Respond to delivery related inquiries and concerns.
  • Make last-minute order adjustments as requested by the relevant department.
  • Schedule deliveries and prepare delivery documentations
  • Coordinate the timely delivery of goods to customers.
  • Ensure that goods are properly packed, stored and transported to avoid any accidents and damages.

Qualification & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent or minimum 3 years related experience in a similar position
  • Experience in a retail environment would be an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well under pressure, flexible and cooperative
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and more, and manually load/offload goods.
