Office Attendant

Active Home Centre, Jamaica’s leading retailer for home enhancement products with
showrooms in Kingston & Montego Bay has an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to join our team as office attendant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full range of facilities maintenance services. Complying with all established company standards, policies, procedures and external regulatory safety (OSHA) guidelines.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Daily cleaning and maintenance of all assigned areas to keep in line with company
    standards.
  • Replenish supplies (Staff & Customer’s) as the need arises.
  • Adherence to quality standards and proper procedures while carrying daily work
    activities.
  • Monitor to ensure that a safe and healthy work environment is maintained and non-hazardous by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; compliant with OSHA and other legal regulations.
  • Performs any other related duty assigned from time- to- time as deemed necessary for the effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s operations.

Qualification & Requirements 

  • High School Diploma
  • Work in a similar environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good at problem-solving and multitasking
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, responsive, flexible, co-operative and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Food Handlers Permit
