Office Attendant
Active Home Centre, Jamaica’s leading retailer for home enhancement products with
showrooms in Kingston & Montego Bay has an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to join our team as office attendant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full range of facilities maintenance services. Complying with all established company standards, policies, procedures and external regulatory safety (OSHA) guidelines.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and maintenance of all assigned areas to keep in line with company
standards.
- Replenish supplies (Staff & Customer’s) as the need arises.
- Adherence to quality standards and proper procedures while carrying daily work
activities.
- Monitor to ensure that a safe and healthy work environment is maintained and non-hazardous by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; compliant with OSHA and other legal regulations.
- Performs any other related duty assigned from time- to- time as deemed necessary for the effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s operations.
Qualification & Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Work in a similar environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good at problem-solving and multitasking
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, responsive, flexible, co-operative and in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Food Handlers Permit
